A experiência do alunoUncommon Schools Rochester Prep currently operates seven schools. We are free public charter schools serving students in grades K-12. Each Rochester Prep Elementary School feeds into a specific Rochester Prep Middle School, and all Middle School campuses feed into Rochester Prep High School.
Kindergarten-9th Grade Enrollment for School Year 2024-25:
Certain students may receive a priority in the lottery. Those students include siblings of other Rochester Prep students, children of Rochester Prep employees, English Language Learner students, students who qualify for Free and Reduced Price Lunch, and students who reside within the City of Rochester. There are no academic criteria for gaining admittance to Rochester Prep. We encourage all families to submit an application, and there is no cost to apply or attend.
GoodSchoolsRoc is an online application system used by Rochester Prep, in collaboration with other charter schools, to make it easy for families to apply to charter schools. By going to the GoodSchoolsRoc website, you will be able to apply to multiple schools with a single application. Please be sure to click on all of the Rochester Prep schools in order to increase your chances of getting a seat at Rochester Prep.
Rochester Prep is one of many charter networks in the city of Rochester. Rochester Prep is part of Uncommon Schools, a nonprofit that manages over 50 schools in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York. Our charter is overseen by the State University of NY, and we are not bound by rules set forth by the Rochester City School District.

Rochester Prep may not require any action by a student or family (such as an admissions test, interview, essay, attendance at an information session, etc.) in order for an applicant to either receive or submit an application for admission to that school.
