Rochester Prep is one of many charter networks in the city of Rochester. Rochester Prep is part of Uncommon Schools, a nonprofit that manages over 50 schools in Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York. Our charter is overseen by the State University of NY, and we are not bound by rules set forth by the Rochester City School District.
Non-Discrimination Statement: Rochester Prep Charter School shall not discriminate against or limit the admission of any student on any unlawful basis, including on the basis of ethnicity, national origin, gender, disability, intellectual ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, athletic ability, race, creed, religion, ancestry or housing status (homeless students). Homeless students are provided transportation in accordance with the Federal McKinney-Vento Act. Rochester Prep may not require any action by a student or family (such as an admissions test, interview, essay, attendance at an information session, etc.) in order for an applicant to either receive or submit an application for admission to that school.
